AFRICAN-AMERICAN CIVIL WAR MUSEUM

American Colorizing and the African-American Civil War Museum in Washington, DC have maintained a great business relationship over the years. Fans of our long-running colorized history blog are aware of our pet photo genres: The American Civil War, Black History, Baseball History, and American Pop Culture. Because of the diverse contributions of African-Americans throughout American  life, we’ve been able to serve the museum with colorizations in all these categories. The African-American Civil War Museum was a primary organizer of the Grand Review Parade down Pennsylvania Avenue to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War. American Colorizing provided the colorized images used in promotional materials and souvenirs for the event, which was carried live on C-Span.
