The Royal Alberta Museum is one of only 5 “Royal” Museums in Canada. American Colorizing played a vital role in the success of its 2013-2014 exhibit, “Chop Suey On The Prairies”.
“Your photos have been very well received; and the comments, not only from our patrons, but the staff as well, have been very positive”.
Michael Seguin, Director of Exhibits

During debut week of “Chop Suey On The Prairies”, museum attendance spiked an amazing 68%.

The Royal Alberta Museum made a relatively small financial investment – and it produced big dividends.

American Colorizing was commissioned by Canada’s prestigious Royal Alberta Museum, among the Creme d’la Creme of Canadian museums. The exhibit directors had a very unusual concept with an equally unusual name – “Chop Suey On The Prairies”. A colorful celebration of Western Canada’s love affair with Chinese Restaurants, “Chop Suey” ran a full year, April 20, 2013 – April 27, 2014, and was a smashing success. Museum attendance spiked 68% during its debut week, and ignited the interest of Canadian TV and newspapers.
